# Ausgabekompression

Wenn eine große Anzahl von Ergebnissen zusammen mit vielen Filteroptionen erzeugt wird, steigt die von FactFinder zurückgegebene Datenmenge schnell an. Dies kann dazu führen, dass die Netzwerkübertragungszeit einen erheblichen Anteil an der gesamten Suchantwortzeit ausmacht.

Falls vom Webserver unterstützt, kann die Serverantwort nach einer GZIP-Komprimierung gesendet werden, um das Datenvolumen stark zu reduzieren.

Je nach verwendeter Programmiersprache kann es jedoch erforderlich sein, clientseitigen Code zu verwenden, um diese Komprimierungsmethode ebenfalls zu unterstützen. Der Client muss explizit komprimierte Ausgabe anfordern, indem er im Anforderungsheader "Accept-Encoding" den Wert "gzip" angibt.
