How many hits per page, skimming to the next page, which sort options? If you want to configure things like this in FactFinder-NG, then you will find the according parameters in the settings under Result listing.
Variants
When using master articles and variants, a master article is displayed in the search result and associated variants (e.g. different colors) are listed separately. If your product data does not contain a combination of master articles and associated variants, the settings for variants have no effect.
Deduplicate Variants: If this option is activated, all variants of a master article are deduplicated and only a single variant is returned with the master article. This is always the variant with the highest search score.
This option is deactivated by default.
User-defined sorting of variants can be specified using the Add button.
Via the drop down menu you can select the field that should be decisive for the sorting.
It is also possible to add multiple sort criteria. The order in the list then determines the priority with which they are handled.
By default all results are sorted in descending order. With the Ascending option you can reverse this. ATTENTION: Sorting by score can never be done in ascending order.
Results per Page
Via Global Maximum you can configure the maximum number of search results displayed.
Results per page specifies how many search results per page are displayed before you have to turn to the next page.
The Linking the values option allows you to apply the settings you have made to both search and navigation instead of configuring them individually.
