Diagnostic Search
In order to quickly check a search result or the general function of modules, a separate search environment, the diagnostic search, was implemented in the management interface .
You can enter a term in the top left (1) and confirm with Enter. FactFinder will search for it and show you the results as a list. If you want to sort the results according to the content of a field , click on the corresponding field name. The arrows show the current sorting mode.
On the left side of the result (2) you can use filters to limit the result. You can expand or reduce this filtering by adding (3) or deleting (4) filters .
Edit field display (5)
The fields displayed from the feed can be specifically configured. This way, you can, for example, hide number fields that you do not search or specifically include non-searchable fields that are needed for ranking in order to check their values:
Filter by terms (6)
If you want to use a specific term within a field for filtering, you can do so using the filter fields in the column headers:
These filters are not just a way to quickly find specific results. With a little additional information, you can also use them for queries that would not otherwise be possible. For example, a filter that shows all articles that do not contain the term "Women":
The corresponding call is: “!Women”. On the left side, FactFinder applies the filter accordingly:
Such filters are useful if, for example, you are not allowed to use products from a certain manufacturer for a campaign.
The toolbar (7)
On the right side of the Diagnostic Search you have direct access to the search term rules.
Configure searchability and weighting of fields

If you want to change the field weighting or searchability of one or more fields, move the mouse over the respective column name and click on the pencil icon that appears :
You can now adjust the values:
