# Channel bearbeiten

## Was sind Kanäle?

* Ein Kanal ist eine **isolierte Einheit** zur Verwaltung von Produktdaten. Er definiert Datenquellen, Regeln, Datentargets und geplante Aufgaben.
* Sie können mehrere Kanäle erstellen, um Ihren Bestand zu unterteilen nach **Shop**, **Sprache**, oder **Anwendungsfall**.
* Sie können separate Kanäle für verschiedene Shop-Oberflächen verwenden, zum Beispiel **B2B** und **B2C** oder **Desktop** und **Mobil**.
* Jeder Kanal kann seinen eigenen Data Feed verwenden. Mehrere Kanäle können außerdem einen Feed gemeinsam nutzen und unterschiedliche Konfigurationen für Suggest, Filter/Navigation und Rankingregeln verwenden.
